And so the lion fell in love with the lamb...," he murmured. I looked away, hiding my eyes as I thrilled to the word. "What a stupid lamb." I sighed. "What a sick, masochistic lion."
-edward and bella describing their attraction to one another in the meadow :D

"Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars - points of light and reason... and then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn't see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything."
-edward on describing his life after he met bella :D

About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him - and I don't know how dominant that part might be - that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

HELLO(: again again again :D

LAST POSTTTTT! and then I'm doneeee! And I can finally go read my beloved fictionpress :D

This post is way overdue sorry ): 3 weeks! sorry :z

Yeap, this is the church sermon/homily on 7 MARCH 2009 (: (P.S. it may not be exactly the same. but this is the gist.)

although its a short story, it taught me many things and prompted me to reflect on lie.

-start-

A wealthy man who was getting on in his years was feeling unwell. One day, his daughter asked him to go and see a doctor.

He didn't want to at first but then in the end, he went. The doctor gave him some advice.

After a few days, the doctor met the elderly man again. The first thing he noticed was that a young, vivacious woman was on his arm. Before he could say anything, the man approached him and thanked him for his advice. [side note: here is their conversation]

Elderly man: Thank you doctor for everything.
Doctor: Why are you thanking me? I haven't done anything except give you advice.
Elderly man: No, you did. You told me to find a hot mama and be cheerful! :D
Doctor: Oh no, I didn't! I told you this: You have a heart murmur. So, be careful!

-end-

LOL! :D

The priest, Fr Johnson Fernandez gave the homily.

He said some of this. and some of the ones are going to tpe is mine. so its kind of mixed.

-start-

Well, I think the moral of the story is: People are ignorant and only hear what they want. And ignore what they do not like to hear. It's true, especially now in modern society. Also when we pray to God, we often pray for the things we want repeatedly. Sometimes, we should take some time to listen to God in our hearts. God, too, want us to listen to him. Listening is a form of prayer. From listening, you can find out many things that you have ignored previously and rediscover the love for God and for the loved ones around you. Prayer is taken to a different level when you listen. It isn't so hard to listen in your life, e.g. on the bus when you are alone, when you feel sad or down, just listen. Even the simplest of things can touch you, when you listen.

LEARN TO LISTEN.

-end-

That concludes my post. yeah :D So, I hope whoever out there would benefit from reading this :) Thank you for reading (:

ciao!

Yup, so the posts are going to be in order. Not really :X

so first post is dazu and the lunch :D which will be included in this.
second post is the interview and pic spam! Coz I was too bored while waiting 8D
third post is the church sermon which was supposed to be posted 3 weeks ago. OOPS! :z

kay starting now :D

hmmm. dazu was okay, I guess. Went around Marine Parade for stations and others. Then when we were entering the 7-Eleven store, suddenly a middle-aged (maybe 55++) grasped my shoulders and said let him go first. I was a bit confused, then I was like huh? Then later he said, next time must let people go out first, then you go in. Okayy. LOL. a lesson learnt :X

OH! and I met my pri sch best friend- Olivia! was really shocked to see her there LOL! didn't meet up with pri sch friends for 2 yrs alr D:

Kay, after dazu, went for lunch with peisze. Believe it or not, it was our first lunch ever that was planned beforehand :X lmao. quite unbelievable eh? (: oops :X

went to Macs in TM. since it was too crowded, went outside to eat. :D ahahaha, then tried to avoid people smoking. we were trying to open our canned drinks. was discussing the possibility of the drink spilling out of the can and onto the cars driving out. (we were standing on top of the driveway of the carpark xD) LOLLL.

end of wed :DDD stay tuned for 2 more posts :D

ciao~ for now!

P.S. BE READY FOR THE PIC SPAM! :D

HELLO(:

i know i have posted twice but i've decided to post again :D and this is a MEGA huge post for me.
*hears gasps*

LOLLL. to make up for my lack of updates :DDD

found this interesting thing on the net :P

Why is the sky blue?

The Earth's sky is blue because the air molecules (largely nitrogen and oxygen) are much smaller than the wavelength of light. When light encounters particles much smaller than its wavelength, light is scattered in all directions. This scattering is known as Rayleigh scattering. Blue light, however, is much more readily scattered than light of longer wavelength. In fact blue light is scattered some 16 times more strongly than red light. Consequently, the sky appears blue. Rayleigh scattering also provides the explanation for the colour of skies at dusk and dawn. A setting or rising Sun appears red because the blue light has been scattered away from the direct sunlight.

Occasionally, other colours of the sky can be seen. These are caused by the scattering of light by particles much bigger than air molecules, sometimes larger than the wavelength of light. Dust particles, from natural or man-made pollution, can be many times larger than air molecules but still small enough to not fall out to the ground. If the dust particles are much larger than the wavelength of light, the scattered light will be neutral in colour, for example white or gray. By the same principle water molecules in clouds are sufficiently large to scatter all wavelengths equally. Therefore the scattered light contains all wavelengths and clouds appear white.

If the dust particles are of approximately the same size as the wavelength of light, all sorts of interesting scattering phenomena may happen. This happens here on Earth from time to time, particularly in desert areas, where the sky may appear white, brown, or some other colour.

LOLLL. interesting right? random. stumbled across this website :DDD

"The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 Cups of Lemonade

When things in your lives seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of Lemonade.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began , he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous "yes."

The professor then produced two cups of lemonade from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand . The students laughed.

"Now," said the professor as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things--your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions-- and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.

The sand is everything else--the small stuff. "If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse/love one out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first--the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the lemonade represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of lemonade with a friend." "

interesting story right? it was thought-provoking for me yeah :D

kay, off to read FPs now! (if you dont know what this stands for, ask peisze!)

hi. sorry that i can't post the post that i said i would post.

sigh. its happening again. its a nightmare, i wish. its not a dream, its reality.

I wonder what will happen. and I really hope its gotta be okay.

sometimes I wonder if its just easier to end it all. Its really easier. I don't know what to do anymore.

Just Lost, Helpless and Worried.

Just end it all. It would be that simple.

"I try so hard to see the good in life. But good things in life are hard to find."
Current song: Its Not Over by Chris Daughtry

Its hard but I wish I can just let go and not feel anything anymore. It hurts.

I hope that tomorrow will be better.

HELLO(:

I realised that I want to post something that happened on Saturday. This is about the sermon in church :D

sheesh :/ i think i'll post it later ._. sigh D: when i have time..

anyway here's today thoughts ._.

"back to today's stuff. it was okay.

and for lvl camp, my passport expired. and I just knew that I could not go. I just had that feeling, you know? I was right. because I have a very important thing to attend on one of the days of lvl camp.

I won't admit that I'm not disappointed. Because I am. Very. Its a cultural trip and I was looking forward to being with 3J on the trip.

Yup, life is always filled with disappointments, don't you think? Especially when you least expect them.

I'm surprised that I am feeling so serene now. normally I would feel sad and then you would see this post filled with complaints and lots of sad emoticons.

but its numb already because I am used to it."

yea. sigh D: will post the sermon later :D

"Turmoil" - posted by Isabel Maria at 10:40 PM
a whirlwind inside my head.

a myriad of coloured emotions.

Helplessness. Loss. Wistfulness. Sadness. Pain.

"Why?" I ask.

My reflection stares back blankly at me.

The question reverberates in my head.

But no one knows the answer.

Turmoil.

& the clock keeps on ticking.
